Using a playslip makes Mega Millions easier to play. Below is a copy of the Virginia Lottery Mega Millions playslip. To complete it, follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Mark 5 numbers from 1 to 56 in the upper play area.

Step 2: Mark 1 number from 1 to 46 in the lower play area.

• Easy Pick
  You may use Easy Pick for all or part of your numbers. For partial Easy Pick, mark any numbers you want, then mark the Easy Pick box. The computer will randomly select all or part of your numbers for a total of six per play.
  
  
• $1.00 Per Play
  You may play up to 5 plays (A – E) at $1.00 per play on this playslip.
  
  
• Optional Plays
  Mark the OPTIONAL PLAYS box for any, or all, of the following. Playing more than one drawing increases the ticket price by the number of drawings you choose.
  
  MULTI-DRAW: Play more than one drawing, including the next.
  ADVANCE: Play any future drawing, or drawings, except the next.
  REPEAT: Your play repeats for more than one ticket.
  
  
• Cash Option or Annual Payout
  Jackpot winners will choose Cash Option or Annual Payout when they claim their prize. With Cash Option, you choose to receive your share of the jackpot in one payment. This one-time payment will be roughly half the estimated advertised jackpot amount (before taxes). With Annual Payout, you will receive your share of the jackpot in 26 annual payments (if a winner dies, his or her heirs will inherit the remaining payments).

Checking your Numbers!
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 p.m.. Five balls will be drawn from 1 to 56 and one ball will be drawn from 1 to 46. You win if the numbers on one row of your ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn on that date. There are nine ways to win a prize, from $2 to the jackpot. If no one wins the jackpot, the money is added to the jackpot for the next drawing. Overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 40.
