Mega Millions continues to grow, and the estimated jackpot for Tuesday, March 4, is $240 million ($133 million cash option). There was one winning Match 5 ticket sold in Friday night’s drawing, worth $1 million. The ticket, sold in Georgia, missed the Mega Ball of 6 while matching the first five numbers (3, 31, 50, 58 and 59).
The $240 million jackpot is the seventh largest Mega Millions prize offered in the past five years, and only 14 jackpots have been higher since Mega Millions began in 2002.
The jackpot has been rolling since January 3, when it was hit for $61 million by Bettina “Tina” Still and her son Jonathan, both of Nashville, Tenn.
