14 coworkers share $1 million Mega Millions prize

January 24, 2014 – A Mega Millions ticket jointly purchased by coworkers at a computer company in Massachusetts came just one number shy of taking home a $30 million jackpot in the multi-state game's January 14th drawing. For matching the first five (5) numbers drawn, the 14-member office pool won a $1 million second prize.

Donna Yee of Hudson came forward to claim the prize on behalf of the group that is comprised of her current and retired coworkers at Hewlett-Packard in Andover. She received a check for $1 million, less taxes, that will be shared evenly amongst them.

The group played their quik pic Mega Millions ticket at Apple Country Market located at 118 Forest Avenue in Hudson. The store received a $10,000 commission on the sale.
