Ohio couple wins $1 million!

March 15, 2017 - Thomas Broadstock of Port Clinton, Ohio, won $1,000,000 after matching all five numbers and no Mega Ball in the March 10, 2017 Mega Millions game.

After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 29 percent, Broadstock receives $710,000.

Broadstock said right now he has no plans for the win. He says the win was pretty overwhelming and he and his wife, Theresa, are taking their time deciding how they will use the windfall. He purchased the 5-of-5 winning ticket from Rich’s Drive Thru in Port Clinton. He used auto lotto. Rich’s Drive Thru receives a $1,000 selling bonus for selling a second-tier winning ticket.
