Ohio winner claims $1 million prize

May 2, 2017 - A Richland County, Ohio, resident is a 2nd tier prize winner in the Ohio Lottery’s Mega Millions game. Kimberly Bryan won $1,000,000 after matching all five numbers and no Mega Ball number in the April 28, 2017, Mega Millions drawing.
She said she still can’t believe that she won. She played her boyfriend Kevin’s set of numbers. Bryan will be buying a house and a car that won’t break down every week, in addition to saving and sharing with Kevin and their families. She plans to keep working.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, Bryan receives a lump sum check for $710,000. The winning numbers were 6-13-18-20-31. The Mega Ball number was 13.
The winning ticket was purchased at Puffs East. Located at 950 F Ashland Road in Mansfield, Puffs East receives a $1,000 agent bonus for selling a five-of-five, and no Mega Ball, winning ticket.
