Arkansas man discovers big win over morning coffee Drawing Date: 7/23/2024 James B. of Clarendon, Ark., won $40,000 in the July 23 Mega Millions® drawing. He claimed his prize on July 26 at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center. The winning ticket was sold at Aclaren Inc., 503 Madison Street in Clarendon. The winning numbers were 3, 9, 14, 26 and 51. The Mega Ball® was 21, and the Megaplier® multiplier was 4. James discovered his win while drinking coffee the morning after the drawing. He checked the draw results on his laptop and, realizing he had matched four out of five winning numbers, calmly announced the win to his wife. “You aren’t going to believe this,” James said. The Clarendon man’s initial prize was $10,000. However, because the multiplier was 4 for the night, his winnings quadrupled to $40,000. James plans to save his winnings.
